Page summary
A house with lots of space
A large villa from the 80's with large volumes: a dining room / lounge upstairs, a spacious veranda near the swimming pool and a garden for the children to run, play ball or enjoy the swing.
Situation
Situated in a small typical village where the Beaujolais vineyards and the one thousand ponds of La Dombes meet, our house is the closest (well, almost!) Bed and Breakfast to Junction 30 – Belleville sur Saône off the A6 motorway.
Holidaymakers will enjoy this proximity, be it for a break on a long trip or as a base for touring Beaujolais, La Dombes & Lyon.
Professionals traveling on business will appreciate the easy access.
The Bed And Breakfast Nuit d'un Jour
It is a large detached house from the 1980s of which we are the second owners. On the north, a large parc with old trees.
The swimming pool
Facing South, next to the veranda, the swimming pool will bring many relaxing moments...
Inside the Bed And Breakfast Nuit d'un Jour

In addition to our own bedrooms, it comprises of 4 rooms for our guests, a large living & dining room with fireplace on the first floor, for the cold season, and a large south facing veranda by the pool, for the summer months.
You may connect your own equipment to our WiFi network or to the major cellular networks.
The garden

On a sandy soil, a land of old oaks, acacias, poplars and numerous fruit trees, the 1.2 acre garden will give you the chance to discover the animals, to have a nap or to look for 4 leaf clovers.
The family

Siu Wan, Thomas and their two teenagers will be your hosts during your stay at Bed And Breakfast Nuit d'un Jour, Montmerle sur Saône.
Siu Wan, with her experience of service and reception in some of the best hotels and clubs of Hong Kong, set herself high goals in French cuisine with, sometimes, a special asian feel. Her
modesty pushes her to endlessly improve her dishes. She speaks Cantonese, English and French and can mix them all in the same sentence to make her point.
Thomas, while continuing his own business, is assisting Siu Wan in welcoming guests and managing this venture. His ten years of living in Hong Kong gave him the chance to learn spoken Cantonese
and to perfect his multicultural English accent. French is standard while Spanish is buried too deep inside to mention...
Born in Hong Kong under British Governorship, both kids go to the lycée. They both participate to our guest house venture in their own way. They speak French and Cantonese and learn German and
English.
The family would not be complete without Foxie.
An adorable young Border Collie who is in charge of entertaining the children.
We will be happy to welcome you at Bed And Breakfast Nuit d'un Jour, for a one night stay... or more.
